Adoption of Lung Protective ventilation IN patients undergoing Emergency laparotomy surgery - ALPINE
ALPINE is a large, multi-centre investigation of current ventilatory practice in emergency laparotomy patients and how this impacts upon 7 day post-operative respiratory outcomes. The study is conducted in collaboration with the National Emergency Laparotomy Network, starting in Autumn 2016 and is expected to last 3 months.
