The first HSRC NELA Research Fellow (2012) and NELA’s Research Lead since 2017. Matt completed a UCL Health Services Research PhD investigating organisational determinants of mortality after laparotomy, before being appointed UCL’s NIHR ACL in anaesthesia. He has been on the committee since 2016 and promotes trainee engagement in research. He enjoys sharing about statistics & data analysis for health services research.
